J'ai été initié à ce produit lors d'un voyage en Bretagne, j'ai eu la chance d'être présenté à Julien Le Calvez (directeur général) et le Dr Philippe Arzul (l'expert en ruminants chez Vitalac) qui ont expliqué les avantages de base du produit. Vu ce produit à chaque visite en France depuis, le produit est maintenant vendu dans le monde entier. D'excellents résultats sur tous les types de céréales, les producteurs laitiers auxquels j'ai également parlé apprécient tous les qualités d'amélioration et de conservation des protéines du produit. La photo ci-dessus est d'une récolte combinée, haricots, blé et orge. Grande valeur nutritive, en particulier avec le grain XL augmentant la valeur nutritionnelle tout en assurant une conservation stable à long terme. Wakely 20" Roller Mill; 1988 Style. We recently came across this photo of a Wakely 20” roller mill from back around 1988. Doesn't it look great?  A tractor powered mill, it had an output of 2TPH. Greater roller for its day, It’s being a long time since we've seen the old workshop, and we would love to have the sign back for posterity!

Wakely and Platin Grain. Quality First, Quality Always Gerry Curran from Platin Grain with his Wakely 1260 Flaking mill. This mill was installed 12 years ago in 2007 and it has rolled tens of thousands of tonnes of grain since then. There's no substitute for quality!

Grinding waste pasta for pigs and piglets Wakely mills are highly adaptable, here we are grinding waste pasta from the food industry, The ground meal will be fed to the pigs and piglets. Average particle size of the ground material is 95% under 500μm. Grinding the pasta makes it a lot more palatable to the animals, makes it easier for them to digest and allows them to extract more energy and nutrients from the food. 

Video of Wakely 1240 with compact conveyor The 1240 PTO powered compact mill, available with many different bells and whistles. This mill is fitted with a conveyor to reduce dust when rolling dry indoors during wet weather. The 1240 bruiser will roll all farmyard grains, rolling barley @ 16% producing rolled sample 15 – 20TPH. A folding conveyor version is also available depending on the need. Naturally these conveyors can be used with our Industrial milling systems, the drive would be 1PH OR preferably 3Ph powered.

The animals are mostly in at this stage. Thankfully we don’t expect any fodder shortages; this season was great for grass growth. These animals are being fed a ration of Silage, Straw and Grain concentrate. The stock should be finished by May / June time and they will be back out on grass for the summer months.

The multipurpose mill which performs a wide range of milling jobs. The mill produces a ration for Livestock, Minerals protein & pellets can be added to the grain being crushed, while the rear platform allows Molasses to be applied to reduce dust and increase palatability. The side platform allows for Maxammon or Home n Dry to be blended with the grain being crushed, while the rear platform allows for high volume preservation when crimping grain.
